TSIH India ("we", "us", "TSIH") operates the website tsih.in and related founder, judge, and admin portals for the Tech Startup Ideation Hub program.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Account details: name, email, password hash, role, and login activity.
  • Startup profile: founder details, startup name, category, pitch materials, and evaluation fields.
  • Cohort application: co-founder details, business plan uploads, video links, and commitment checkboxes.
  • Payment data: Razorpay transaction references for seat confirmation (we do not store full card or UPI details).
  • Communications: messages sent via contact forms, support email, or WhatsApp.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and analytics events (via Google Analytics where enabled).

How We Use Your Information

  • Review applications and operate the selection, jury, and shortlist process.
  • Deliver program logistics (accommodation, meals, mentor scheduling, Demo Day).
  • Process seat confirmation payments and send program updates.
  • Improve our website, security, and applicant experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted partners who help us run the program, such as payment processors (Razorpay), accommodation providers, cloud hosting, and email delivery services.

Jury members and assigned judges see only the information required to evaluate your application. After a jury evaluation is submitted, founders can view scores and remarks in the Startup Portal under Jury Feedback (evaluator identities are not disclosed).

Data Retention

We retain application and program records for as long as needed to operate the cohort, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.

You may request deletion of non-essential data after the program cycle ends, subject to contractual and legal retention needs.

Your Rights

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information in your profile or application.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential marketing communications.
  • Raise a privacy concern using the contact details below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access, and rate limiting on sensitive forms.

No online system is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and do not share portal credentials.
